Natural options we've used for our son with ADHD
I come back to this particular topic a lot because I'm pretty passionate about it. A focus issue is what brought me to essential oils in the first place.
My youngest son, Kyle was diagnosed with ADHD when he was in elementary school. Essential oils made ALL the difference, & we were hooked as a family at that point.
After having such a positive experience using them for Kyle's ADHD, we started turning to them first, whenever problems popped up. I don't know why it surprised me every single time that they worked ... I would literally run to my husband & tell him what happened. It was so exciting to me to have something work so well & so quick!
Focus issues are not just about ADHD. As moms we're so busy that we ALL struggle with staying focused on a task. We also struggle to keep our kids focused ... even without the added issue of actual ADHD.

Top essential oils for Focus and Concentration
Vetiver, Serenity, and Balance
These three oils are what we used to help my son. We also used the InTune blend I talk about below. They are so good and I can't say enough about them. Combine 20 drops of each in a 10mL roller bottle, then top it off with fractionated coconut oil. Shake before each use.
We used this one before my son headed off to school in the morning. Roll on the back of the neck, wrists, and bottoms of the feet before slipping socks on (to keep it from rubbing off on the floor).

Vetiver is also one of my favorites for sleep.
Serenity is also for sleep and all things calming.
Balance is an everyday staple for having a good day.
InTune
When my son was in elementary school, we would have him take this in his backpack and apply it during lunchtime on the bottoms of his feet. He would do this in the bathroom just so he wouldn't draw attention to himself. That's what he was comfortable with.
The bottoms of the feet is also a great spot if a child is worried about the smell of an oil drawing attention. They can roll it on, then slip socks on. The oil gets absorbed but no one else can smell it.
But smelling it also gives direct access to the brain, so putting it on the back of the neck is also great. Do whatever your child is most comfortable with.
This combination of Amyris, Patchouli, Frankincense, Lime, Ylang Ylang, ‘Iliahi (Hawaiian Sandalwood), and Roman Chamomile essential oils is high in limonene and ά-pinene. These two main chemical compounds are calming.
Adaptiv System
This is a truly incredible Adaptiv line that was released just a few years ago. These are all designed to best be used together, but you can also use them separately.
There's an undiluted oil for using straight out of the bottle or in a diffuser. There's a diluted roller bottle for easy grab and go use. There's also a supplement that works wonders when used in conjunction with the topical essential oil blend.
