🗒️ Why Continuing Education classes are vital:

Builds a very loyal customer base - truly becomes a lifestyle for them.

Expose customers to the vast possibilities of ALL doTERRA’s product offerings (more than just the oils)

Goal of continuing ed classes = Help your customer find 4-5 products they’ll never want to live without.

The most common Continuing Ed programs are usually a rotation of specialty topic classes.

Find out if someone in your upline is offering local or online continuing ed programs before starting your own. Then you can focus on other aspects of your biz, like inviting customers to continuing ed & enrolling more people.

If someone doesn’t go on LRP during your Wellness Consult - they’ll have several more exposures to why it’s amazing through these classes.

What you’re now understanding is that your role as a Wellness Advocate is to take your customer from experience —> experience.

🗒 Inviting your customer to Continuing Ed:

Invite your customer to your continuing education classes at the end of your wellness consult with them

Say this: “You’re doing an incredible job at investing in a natural lifestyle, & I want you to get the absolute most out of this. Because you’ve enrolled with doTERRA you receive free essential oil education that I want you to take advantage of because it’s amazing. There are literally endless possibilities: Balancing hormones, natural weight loss, pain management, mood & emotional support, detoxing, & lots more. The good news is you get this for free, but you’re going to want to participate while all of this is fresh in your memory. I’m going to plug you into it, & all I want you to do is to have fun learning & exploring. See how many areas of your life you can improve because you know how to use essential oils now.”

🗒️ Creating your own Continuing Ed program:

The simplest way to do Continuing Ed is to rotate among topics each week. The classes are approx 60 min. You can find pre-written class tear pads for all of these topics at Oil Life. While you can do many kinds of bonus classes back to school, oils of the bible, oils for pets, etc), these following are the main topics that have proven to engage new customers in the doTERRA lifestyle:

  • Essential Oils 101 / Top 10 Oils Class

  • Nutrition & Supplements (The Power Behind Proper Health & LLV)

  • Toxin Free Living

  • Oils for Every Age

  • Skin Care

  • Stress, Sleep & Emotions

  • Women’s Health & Hormones

  • Pain Management

🗒️ Continuing Ed Rewards:

Find creative ways to congratulate people who participate in Continuing Ed! Recognition goes a long way, & people love to feel like they’re part of something important.

Here are some great ideas on how to do that:

  • Certificate of graduation after attending all classes

  • Punch card with a prize (such as an inexpensive diffuser) after a certain number of punches. Diffuser can be purchased on Amazon or at bulk wholesale pricing on GreenAir

  • Recognition on team Facebook group

🗒️ Business training right after:

An effective Continuing Ed program will include a basic business training after each Continuing Ed event. Why right after? Because everyone is already there!

Keep the business training to 30 min

Here is a 4 week rotation of short business class suggestions that you can add to the end of your continuing ed classes:

  • Getting Started (Basic overview of the content you’ve gone through here so far: Making a list, Sampling, Inviting to a class etc)

  • Compensation Plan (more detail than Basic Business Intro)

  • How to Teach an Essential Oil Class

  • Elite in 6 Weeks

📝 Your Assignment:

  1. Schedule in + plan to offer your own Continuing Education Program during your Launch Season. If your upline offers one already, you can use theirs. If not, don’t hesitate to do it yourself.

  2. Calculate the current % of your customers that aren’t on LRP & set a goal! To do this you need 2 numbers: the number of total customers you have, & the number who aren’t on LRP. Use those numbers in this online percent calculator to find the % that aren’t on LRP. Decide on your goal you want to reach in this area.

On Day 13, you’re going to learn how to have an organization that has new builders hitting solid Elite all the time!
