Using the “PIPES” Model:
In doTERRA we use the acronym PIPES to describe how we do our business (see image below). Today we’re focusing on INVITE. Once a customer has an awesome oil experience with their sample, you’re ready to invite them to a class.
Here’s what you can say once they have a good sample experience:
“If you think (______ oil) is awesome, that’s just the tip of the iceberg! It’s incredible how many things you can solve with essential oils. (Share one or two powerful experiences with essential oils).
Here’s what we’re going to do: There is an amazing Intro to Oils class on _________and another class_________. I think what you will learn could change your life. I would love you to come. Which of those times works better for you?”
Confirm the date & time, & let them know you’ll give them a call with more details two days before the class.
Scheduling Tips:
IMPORTANT: When you’re launching your business make sure to always have at least 1 class every week (either in person or online). This is what feeds your business…taking your customer from experience to experience. It’s a good practice to have a class on the same day + time each week so you can work the rest of your business building schedule around that class.
EXAMPLE: Let’s assume you have a regular class planned for every Wednesday at 7pm...
Mondays
Connect with & remind people about Wednesday class
Tuesdays
Prep for your class
Support customers + contacts in the PIPES model
Wednesdays
Set alarm on phone to text all guests 2hrs before class (“I’m excited to see you!”)
Teach class
Thursdays
Enter enrollments from class
Fridays
Lifestyle overviews with customers who received their oils
Connect with customers you’ve sampled or want to sample
📝 Your Assignment:
Create your own schedule:
👉 What day + time each week will you set aside for teaching?
👉 Create a weekly pattern for fitting in the other PIPES activities.
