Okay, let’s be real. Because as much fun as I had over the holidays, there was also some stress. We also dealt with our septic tank backing up into the house in the middle of the night (yes…raw sewage in the shower🤢). Had to turn the main water off because of it. One adult got food poisoning from going out to eat that night, and threw up in the middle of the night all over herself (same night as the septic issue - thus no water to clean up). And the next day was a Saturday (struggling to get emergency service to help us remedy the problem), with a wedding happening on that Saturday, so - extra family staying with us. And multiple people were sick with fever and congestion.

We got through it and all is good. But stress is real! The holidays are over, but somehow, it still feels like we’re carrying a little bit of that holiday chaos with us. Whether it’s the post-holiday funk, trying to get back into a routine, or just surviving flu season, it’s easy to feel like we’re just treading water right now.

VANILLA COFFEE CREAMER

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup raw cashews (soaked 4-8 hours)

  • 4 cups water

  • 1 tsp. sunflower lecithin

  • pinch sea salt

  • 2 drops Madagascar vanilla

  • 1 drop of Cinnamon (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Soak cashews for 4-8 hours.

  2. Add the soaked cashews into a high-speed blender with water and a pinch of sea salt.

  3. Blend for at least 3-5 minutes to ensure the cashews have been fully pureed. If you don't have a high-speed blender, you might need to strain the milk/cream.

  4. Add the sunflower lecithin and blend for another minute.

  5. Pour the cashew milk into a medium saucepan and heat it over medium heat. Stir constantly until the milk reaches high temperature (right before a boil). Once the milk thickens (it will happen almost instantaneously), remove it from heat.

  6. Add essential oils and mix well.

  7. Transfer the cream to a jar or a bottle and refrigerate. Recipe will keep for 3-4 days.

VANILLA PROTEIN BALLS

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 1⁄2 cup nut butter

  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats

  • 1⁄4 cup coconut, shredded

  • 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 scoop Vanilla dōTERRA Protein

  • 1 1⁄2 tablespoons water

  • 1⁄4 cup bittersweet chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS

In a large-sized bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix until incorporated. Using a cookie scoop or your hands, roll out 12 balls. Store in an airtight container for up to 7 days.

LEMON BLUEBERRY PANCAKES

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup Flour (Gluten Free if desired)

  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup almond milk

  • 2 teaspoons melted coconut oil or butter

  • 1 large egg

  • Zest of half a lemon

  • 1/2 cup of blueberries

  • 2 drops of Madagascar vanilla

  • 2 drops of lemon

    INSTRUCTIONS

  • Whisk the Flour, Baking Powder, and salt together in a bowl.

  • In a separate bowl, add the milk, coconut oil/butter, egg, lemon zest and essential oils. Mix thoroughly.

  • Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix with a whisk until combined.

  • Gently fold in the blueberries.

  • Heat a pan over a medium heat, and spoon tablespoons of the pancake mixture into the pan. Cook until golden each side.

  • Serve with maple syrup, honey or whip cream.

FIBER BANANA OAT MUFFINS

 

INGREDIENTS 

  • 3 ripe bananas

  • 1 1⁄2 cups milk

  • 1⁄4 cup honey

  • 2 drops Madagascar vanilla

  • 2 large eggs

  • 3 cups old-fashioned oats

  • 2 teaspoons baking soda

  • 1 1⁄2 teaspoons cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 2 tablespoons chai seeds

  • 2 scoops dōTERRA Fiber

  • 2⁄3 cup bittersweet chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat the oven to 375 °F.

  • Grease or line a 12-cup muffin pan

  • In a large-sized bowl, smash the bananas until they’re no longer chunky.

  • Add all the other ingredients and mix until incorporated.

  • Divide the batter evenly into the muffin pan

  • Bake for 16-18 minutes.

  • Allow to cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan.

  • Store any leftovers in a storage bag for 7 days at room temperature or in the refrigerator.

Beautiful Body Blend

 

In a 30ml dropper add:

  • 7 drops of Copaiba

  • 7 drops of Frankincense

  • 7 drops of Lavender

  • Shake well and let blend rest for 24 hours.

Apply to clean skin small circles from your feet to the top of your body.

Sunshine Rollerbottle

 

In a 10ml roller bottle add:

  • 8 drops of Balance® Grounding Blend

  • 8 drops of Cheer® Uplifting Blend

  • Top with a carrier oil

  • Shake well and let blend rest for 24 hours.

  • Apply along the spine, up the forearms, onto pulse points or on the bottoms of the feet to uplift mood.
